• In 2018 we acquire a brand-new Heidelberg XL 106-5+L printing machine. This is a five-color machine with dispersion coating technology. By acquiring this machine, we significantly modernize our machine fleet, thereby increasing our production capacity while preserving our high printing quality.
  • With the acquisition of an eight-color Heidelberg XL 105-8c printing machine, we’re able to print even the most demanding double-sided, full-color orders in just a single pass through the machine.
  • Dominik Metzler, Vice President for the sheet-fed printing division within the EDS group, also serving as the TYPOS CEO since 2010, assumes operational leadership of the company. Through this step, EDS continues in an overall enterprise-wide transformation, and also in the deepening of cooperation between its two sheet-fed printing companies: TYPOS and PASSAVIA.
  • As a part of strengthened cooperation with the German PASSAVIA printing house, a joint sales team (for sheet-fed printing) for German-speaking customers is created.

  • 2007 brings a merger between the Typos – Digital Print, s.r.o. subsidiary and its parent company, Typos, tiskařské závody, a.s.
  • 2004 is the largest turning point in the company’s modern history – in this year, a building for a new printing machine is built in Pilsen’s Borská Pole industrial zone. This relocation enables extensive investments into machines and equipment, placing TYPOS among the largest and most modern offset printing companies on the Czech market.
  • The company founds the subsidiary named Typos – Digital Print, becoming one of the first printing companies in the Czech Republic to follow the trend in which large offset printing companies start founding divisions focused on digital printing technologies. Offset and digital printing at Typos still complement each other to this day.
  • In 1997, production begins at the newly renovated operations on Nádražní street in Klatovy. The Klatovy plant is still in operation today, and it primarily specializes in small offset-printing runs.
